Say goodbye to shaving, tweezing, waxing and electrolysis! We are home to a revolutionary laser for hair removal. Any part of your body is treatable, ranging from your lip down to your feet! Pricing does vary per area, so please call to ask the price of a specific area!
We sell the treatments in packages of six. After those six treatments are complete, another package of four may be purchased. Our prices are lowest in town.
Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicle itself, which has melanin in it, leaving the pore and your skin unharmed. As the laser light pulses, it disables large numbers of hair follicles. Your hair goes through dormant and active cycles. During the active cycles, the hair is targeted by the laser. This is why multiple treatments are needed, to tend to the dormant and the active cycles of your hair growth. Call today!
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do I come in for a treatment?
We do wait roughly three to four weeks in between treatments to allow for your hair to go through its dormant and active stages. It also depends on the area you’re getting treated. Give us a call for specifics!
How long does it take?
Depending on the size of the area being treated, your treatments may take as little as five minutes. For instance, getting your lip and chin hair removed will take roughly six minutes, while getting your full legs done may take up to 45 minutes.
What sort of results can I expect?
Patients have experienced an 80% reduction of hair re-growth after the treatments. Avoid sun exposure, waxing, tweezing and bleaching the treated areas. Shaving is fine. Hair re-growth is possible due to hormonal changes, pregnancy, aging and hereditary explanations. Immediately following your treatment, you may experience a sun-burn like sensation on the treated area, but it will subside within a few hours. An appearance of hair growth or stubble will continue for 7 – 30 days post treatment. This is not new hair growth, but the treated hairs being expelled from the skin. Hair may take up to 4 weeks, or in some cases, as little as a few days, to fall out following treatment.
Does it work for everyone?
The laser works best on pale skin and coarse, dark hair. Due to the lack of melanin, the laser does not take off blonde, white or gray hair. It has been reported that people with diabetes and polycystic ovarian syndrome take longer to respond to the treatments.
Does it hurt?
Most patients report no discomfort during the treatments, which is due to the revolutionary contact cooling system, which sends chilled water through the hand piece to the sapphire tip which is constant contact with the skin, thus providing maximum safety and comfort.
